A Neater, More Secure Roof Verge
The edges of a tiled roof need to withstand wind, rain and years of exposure, particularly around the gable ends of a property. Traditional mortar verges can crack, loosen and deteriorate over time, allowing water and weather to affect the edge of the roof. A properly fitted dry verge system provides a secure finish while also giving the roof a clean, consistent appearance.
Dry Verge Installation and Repairs
We install and repair dry verge systems designed to secure the outer edges of roof tiles without relying on traditional mortar. If an existing verge has become loose, damaged or untidy, we can assess the condition and determine if individual sections can be repaired or if replacement is more appropriate. The correct installation is important because the dry verge roof edging needs to sit securely with the roof tiles and surrounding components.
Protecting the Verge of the Roof
The verge on a roof is particularly exposed to wind and rain, so deterioration can become noticeable over time. We can inspect the existing roof edge, identify damaged components and advise on suitable dry verges for roofs where an upgrade is needed. Small components such as dry verge end caps and dry verge caps are also checked as part of the finished system.
